First Aid Service

The First Aid Services Team alleviates human suffering by providing first aid support to guests attending local area festivals, concerts and sporting events.

Mission
The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Our Social Impact
Our social impact is measured in the ways that we are able to support the community by providing first aid services to guests at local area events, and in the number of volunteers we are able to engage to do so.

We currently engage about 175 volunteers in our First Aid Services Team, who provide support to more than 200 event shifts throughout the year. Many of our volunteers also provide support to other Red Cross programs, including disaster relief, service to the armed forces, international services, blood services and more.
